Tim and Linda (They are a package deal!) have always enjoyed staying fit and experiencing the great outdoors. They have trekked some of the toughest trails in the Rockies, Cascades and the Peruvian Andes. They have also spent a significant amount of time hiking through the rainforests of Costa Rica and Belize. Tim has always been involved in competitive sports of some type, including football, running, cycling and martial arts. Linda has always been an avid runner and motocross rider. In 2008 they first heard about a crazy sport called adventure racing and instantly felt a calling. Tim and Linda entered and completed the 2008 Berryman adventure race and they were hooked for life. Despite being new to the sport, Tim and Linda qualified for and competed in the USARA National Championship race in 2009, where they finished amongst the top 40 teams in the country, exceeding their expectations for their first year of competition. Tim and Linda were awarded the Newcomer of the Year award for the best new team in 2009 from the Nebraska Angry Cow adventure racing organization. Tim and Linda are looking forward to taking their adventure racing to the next level by competing in multi-day expedition races in the future.
