Colin Hamel, 24, is under seasonal contract as a wilderness guide/instructor for Summit Adventure in Bass Lake, CA. He craves pina-colada and cheese burgers when leading courses in the back country, loves to play ultimate frisbee and climb mountains in and around Yosemite. When not working in the outdoors, he can be found riding the ol' bicycle around Bass Lake and swimming to the buoys, hitting the urban environment for a day of Le Parkour (free running), or summiting peaks in Colorado and Ecuador (Mt. Yale, Cotopaxi, and Cayambe). He enjoys a good cup of chai and a poetry book and sometimes likes to pretend the ground is hot lava.
